Xsilva released their 3.0 POS system this week. The Cularis web store is not compatible with the new 3.0 as the web store extension (1.3) is no longer supported by Xsilva. We are anxiously awaiting the (promised) release of the API as stated in the developer camps and communicated to several of our clients. Once we can see the API and understand its use, we can integrate to it for 3.0 compatibility. Until then, DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR POS.

We have added additional abilities to remove sub categories and category sets for your products. This solves a known issue around removing a category set leaving sub category associations in tact. If you still see a product associated with a subcategory that doesn't show in your admin product category view, re-associate the main category to the product to expose the new removal tools. Then, remove the product from each subcategory before removing the category set. For more information please open a support ticket.

During peek times of the day, some order notification or site registration emails could be delayed. This is an ongoing issue and we are working with RackSpace on a solution. We will update this post with more information as we figure out the issue and its solution.

Lately I seem to have a steady stream of suspicious user registrations to our site--russian email addresses, first name same last (and not recognizable names), very complicated passwords. Is this something I need to worry about or do anything about?

This is usually from a spam bot or bot net trying to find a place to post links and bad information. We are protected from these type of attacks, but please remove the accounts created to avoid any further issues. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to stop these attacks.

Make sure you have SSL security on (in your admin, under the admin settings -> security menu).

Google is giving out warnings on my site. I found some stuff that I

was pretty sure does not belong there and replaced the files.

One file that I think does not belong at all was called data.js - I
renamed it WTFdata.js so you could look at it and make sure. Not sure
if this is why the site is not displaying correctly when I ignore the
warnings and look at it.

I requested google to re evaluate the site so it can be taken off the
list.

Main reason I am writing is to ask about the security of the server.
How did it get hacked?

------------

If you use the Xsilva web store, there is a known exploit that allows a hack like this to happen. You also want to check your index and theme files for any bad links that show up in <b1> tags.
